Seasonal Schools

📣 Call for EURASIP 2026 Seasonal Schools

Thinking about organizing a seasonal school in signal processing?

👉 EURASIP can support your event with up to €5000.

👉 For this new edition, there will be a special focus on multi-(European)country collaborations, with particular encouragement for bi-national initiatives, though not limited to them.

In 2014, EURASIP launched its Seasonal Schools in Signal Processing Program. EURASIP seasonal schools are typically summer schools with the goal of providing graduate students, Ph.D. students, and early stage researchers with background on selected topics in signal processing and its applications. The primary objective for creating a seasonal school program is membership development for young researchers with interests in signal processing and its applications.

The EURASIP BoD welcomes proposals from prospective organizers of future seasonal schools. The Call for Seasonal School Proposals is continuously open.

Proposals should be submitted in PDF format by email to the Director for Technical Programs and Membership, by completing the proposal form (downloadable in Word  here). Please consult the guidelines document and the Seasonal School agreement. Any questions should be directed to the same address. An example of a successful Seasonal School proposal can be found here.

Among the criteria considered for sponsorship evaluation, particular attention should be given to ensuring a strong representation of EURASIP themes, a balanced geographical distribution of plenary speakers (primarily European), and gender diversity.
